Open competition. Vetted access.

The Harmonic Searcher Network allows validators to opt into giving KYC/KYB/AML-screened searchers access to their order flow before it executes. Searchers compete in an open auction, trade only behind the user, and every backrun is on record with our compliance server.

01Ingress

A transaction reaches the Harmonic TPU.

If you opt in, then when your validator leads, Harmonic forwards eligible transactions to vetted searchers as they arrive, before they execute.

02Vetted searchers

Only verified searchers see it.

Every searcher passes KYC/KYB and AML checks before it sees a single transaction.

03Compliance server

Every backrun is on record first.

Before each backrun, the searcher files a record with the Harmonic compliance server naming the transaction it trades behind. Harmonic logs it on its own clock, with when each transaction reached us and each searcher.

04Auction

Several searchers bid.
The highest wins.

Searchers compete for each opportunity in a frequent batch auction. There is no fast lane: no searcher gets a private lane or first right of refusal.

05Lands behind

The user goes first.
The backrun goes behind.

The winning bundle lands with the user's transaction first and the searcher's trade directly behind it. The winning bid is paid to your validator as tips and priority fees, inside the block.

06Checked

Checked in real time, audited independently.

Monitoring reads the records against chain and block-builder data and alerts when a backrun lands ahead of its trigger. Blockline, our contracted third-party auditor, reviews any contested trade.

07Shared PnL

What remains is shared.

Competition pushes most of the profit into the bids paid in your block. Any remaining searcher PnL is shared between the searcher and the validator.

Behind the user, never ahead.

Every strategy on the network trades directly behind the transaction that triggers it.

No frontrunning

No searcher trades ahead of a user's transaction. The record names the trigger, and monitoring checks what lands against it.

No sandwiching

No trade is placed around a user's to skim the price move. Contested trades go to independent review.

No toxic MEV

Value comes from competing to backrun, not from making users worse off. The same red lines bind every Harmonic builder.

How it is policed.

Vetted
Every searcher passes KYC/KYB and AML checks before it sees a single transaction. There are no anonymous participants and no private lanes.
Recorded
Before each backrun, the searcher submits a record to our compliance server naming the transaction it trades behind. Harmonic logs it on its own clock, with when each transaction reached us and when it went to each searcher.
Checked in real time
Our monitoring reads those records with chain and block-builder data, and alerts us when a backrun lands ahead of its trigger.
Enforced
New searchers start in a sandbox on Harmonic-owned validators. After that, a violation means a warning, then removal. The list is curated continuously.
Independently audited
Blockline is contracted as our third-party auditor for sandwich detection. When a trade is contested, it overlays its own classification on our compliance data, so the answer never rests on our word alone.

Three strategies, one rule.

Searchers on the network run three families of strategies, and validators choose which ones to enable. Every one trades behind its trigger, in the same block, in under a millisecond.

Arbitrage

A large trade leaves a price gap between venues, and the searcher closes it in the very next transaction.

Sniping

Buying new tokens as they launch or migrate: a directional bet that demand will follow.

Copy trading

Following wallets whose buys tend to pull in other buyers: a bet on that momentum, placed in microseconds.

Two ways in.

The network is opt-in for every validator running Harmonic and open to any searcher who meets the bar.

For validators

Opt in, stay in control.

Winning bids reach you as tips and priority fees inside the block, not through side deals. Any remaining searcher PnL is shared between the searcher and the validator.

  • Opt in by strategy: arbitrage, sniping, copy trading, in any combination
  • Set in your validator configuration, with no sidecars to run
  • Every searcher transaction, reward and compliance event in your dashboard and API
For searchers

See flow before it executes.

Act on a trade in the same block, in under a millisecond, and compete for it in an open auction instead of racing for private access. Admission is earned.

  • Apply, then complete KYC/KYB and AML checks
  • Integrate with the compliance server, so every backrun carries a record
  • Run a 7 to 14 day pilot on sandboxed validators before full admission

How disputes are resolved.

If you think a trade in a Harmonic block broke these rules, report it to us. Every report follows the same four steps, and the outcome is shared.

  1. 01

    Report it

Send the Harmonic team the transactions or wallets in question.

  2. 02

    We share the records

When each transaction reached us, when it reached each searcher, and when the searcher committed.

  3. 03

    Independent review

Blockline, our contracted auditor, overlays its own classification on our compliance data.

  4. 04

    Outcome

The trades are cleared, or the searcher is warned or removed. Either way, we share what we found.

Open competition, value paid in the block, and a record anyone can check.
